About Sam

Sam Corry is an 18 year old American racing driver from Lake Norman, North Carolina. His love of racing started with asphalt go-karts before progressing into winged outlaw karts and Micro Sprint cars. In 2021, he took a short break from dirt racing to test an F4 car at Homestead-Miami Speedway and competed in the inaugural season of USF Juniors the following year. Some of Sam’s career highlights to date include finishing 2nd in the 2022 USF Juniors Championship, scoring a 2023 USF2000 race win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and finishing 2nd in the 2024 USF2000 Championship while completing every single lap of the season.

After making his Trans Am debut at the final event of the 2024 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and capturing the Pro/Am class victory, Corry transitioned into full-time competition in the TA2 class with Nitro Motorsports. Following a strong rookie campaign, he returns for the 2026 season looking to build on that momentum as one of the young drivers rising through the American stockcar racing ladder. A proven race winner with experience across both open-wheel and stock car platforms, Corry continues to establish himself as a versatile and competitive presence in the Trans Am and NASCAR paddock.
